Jeeze did this take me a while or what. 3 days it took me to paint. 3 effing days!

It's for le art project i'm doing. The theme is sanctuary, and when I read comics and stuff, i'm basicly in my 'sanctuary'. This is the reason why I decided to paint this.

One Iron Patriot right here. If you're wondering who the Iron Patriot is and why he's begging to be Iron Man and Captain America at the same time; It's Norman Osborn. He stole Iron Mans outfit and redesigned it himself, with the American flag colours, hence the ' patriot ' part in his title :lol:

He's in the Dark Avengers if you wanted to know.

Yeah, the whole marvel universe is in the blender so to speak, Iron Man(The One and Only, the Original Tony Stark(?)but this remains to be seen, I think)) is in old Armor and is both out of a job and is being hunted down. War Machine, is a terminator like cyborg in battle armor taking out bad guys(a good thing). The Avengers are now basically the Thunderbolts in the Avenger costumes, worse even, with Osborn in Iron M..err Patriot armor "Large and IN Charge", with Doc Doom, King Namor, Loki(now a She,) and even "The Hood" & his evil 'goons' under his thumb so to speak.

This is one shake up after another, with not a breather in between. With Civil War, Secret Invasion, and now Dark Reign...when will it end?

Of course nothings going to be as great as the originals, but I guess they gotta do something to keep it interesting, even if it means mixing everything up :lol:

I'm curious to see what's gonna happen next.
