The detail you have is AMAZING! the fact it was done in less then 4 hours is rather curious as well. The belly plates and wings are the best part I think. They really make it stand out. It's a shame it's in one/two shades and in such a tight pose, but it's really serious looking and does have a good form.

As said, I'd suggest some more tones (or even colors!) and maybe not such a tight pose and angle. I can see the eyes and parts of it's body are not very well angled or mushed together in over reflection.

Yup I see what you mean about it being squashed

Bear in mind that I did have a very small and not very clear ref. picture. The right wing does look a bit odd

Ah yes, tone. Well, the scanner does actually tone down the picture a lot. And I had to piece it together as 2 A4 pictures. Trust me, there are way more tones in the original. And colour? I've tried to put some of my dragons in colour, but I just can't get the detail in there.

As for under four hours, well when im determined i am determined XD I've been doing pencil drawings for a long time so I can be pretty quick and detailed at the same time

The original is both a poster and t-shirt design and used on many other products, however I do not know the original artist. Makes me wonder if Auctor and Cipher are the same or seperate wyverexs :\

Yeah when I first found it, it said it's title but no artist. I actually tried to find the artist's name but I was getting nada.

Haha what I mean by putting two A4 pictures together is my scanner is only A4, and the picture was drawn on A3 paper. So I had to scan the top and bottem half seperately, then I opened photoshop to put them together. Usually I had to take a photo of my A3 work, like my other dragon picture. I've only just started to scan seperately because I have a program that can finally put them together
